Havenwood is a family owned and operated Assisted Living surrounded by forested hills and lovely mountain views, yet is located just minutes from historic Lexington Virginia, where residents have access to cultural activities, concerts, physicians, and the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Havenwood Assisted Living provides the highest quality care in a caring, family like environment to suit people of differing ages, abilities, and medical conditions. The health and comfort of each person's physical, emotional, and spiritual state are of the highest importance to us, and because we are a smaller facility with only 19 rooms, we are able to both provide specialized care and get to know each resident individually, adapting to their specific needs and preferences. Our exceptionally trained staff aim to foster an environment where the task is never more important than the relationship. Residents are encouraged to do as much as they can safely and we will do the rest.

We provide delicious, well balanced, homestyle meals. Recipes are made from fresh ingredients, tailored to each special dietary need and menu ideas are submitted by the resident meal planning committee.

Havenwood is a community where friendships blossom and fun is always on the menu. Residents participate in games, crafts, exercises, reading circle or spiritual activities which are adapted to the individual preferences and abilities of the community. Family and friends are encouraged to spend time with their loved ones, joining in the activities or enjoying each other's company while relaxing on our porch and taking in the panoramic views or experiencing the serenity of our flower gardens and fountain in the central courtyard.
